IHM Ballet/Tap

This class builds on basic ballet technique that was introduced at the beginner level. It is for dancers ages 6-8. Students learn proper ballet steps, terminology and body placement at an age appropriate pace. Students will learn beginner tap steps, rhythms and combinations. Dancers build flexibility, strength, motor skills, self-confidence and have lots of fun dancing. A recital performance is held in May with no additional fees for participation, costumes or tickets. Classes are held in Founders Hall at Immaculate Heart of Mary on Wednesdays 6:30-7:15. This class is for students who are ages 6-8 by September 1st and have had at least one year of previous ballet training.
